Information You Submit
When a visitor enters a name, telephone number, or address in a search form, those terms pass to the outside provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a separate copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains only the details the sender chooses to provide, and we use that message to answer the inquiry.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard server logs may record an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and visit times. We review this information in aggregate to maintain the service and learn which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may also support basic analytics and advertising measurement where those features apply.
How We Use Information
The limited information described above helps us operate the site, diagnose faults, measure visits, and improve its pages. We neither sell visitor lists nor create profiles about individual users.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links may lead to the Santa Clarita City Clerk, Los Angeles County offices, California agencies, court portals, library collections, and outside search tools. Each destination controls its own privacy practices. Information entered there falls under that service's policy, including information submitted through sponsored search results supplied by another company.
Who May Receive Information
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic information already described. We may disclose available data when valid legal process requires it, but we do not otherwise distribute visitor information.
Safeguarding Your Data
An encrypted connection serves the site, and server logs are kept only as long as the stated purposes require. Because there are no user accounts, this site stores no visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect a minor's personal information. Contact us if someone under 18 has submitted such information, and we will remove it.
Your California Privacy Rights
California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain sale or sharing of personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. Because we hold little visitor information, a request will usually involve checking contact messages and available server logs. Use the Contact page to submit one. The California Delete Act, Civil Code § 1798.99 series, also established the Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, known as DROP, for requests to registered data brokers. These rights do not erase public records held by the City of Santa Clarita, Los Angeles County, a California agency, or a court. Access to those agency records is governed by the California Public Records Act, Government Code § 7920.000 et seq., and other record-specific laws. Requests to change or remove an official record must go to its custodian.
